ASC’s members are the practitioners, facilitators, researchers, and trainers who turn complex scientific ideas into clear, engaging stories that spark curiosity. Their team will help shape our science programming and amplify awareness for our inaugural convention, bringing their incredible depth of talent to the experience we are building. With ASC’s guidance, the technical becomes accessible, the complicated becomes exciting, and the “mumbo jumbo” becomes news people can actually use.
ASC is a primarily volunteer‑run nonprofit best known for SCIENCE TALK, one of the premier annual gatherings for the SciComm community. Since 2017, SCIENCE TALK has brought together communicators at every stage of their careers, creating a hub for learning, collaboration, and innovation in how science reaches the public.
